Does Android Lollipop "Smart Unlock" support NFC?

@johnyma22 The article is a little ambiguous that the NFC tag has to stay in range. I hope not, that would be really annoying.

@jasok2, we were talking about this on IRC last night, one of the guys is running L and has tested a ring for unlock.
He says it doesn't write or change anything on the tag so it appears to be UID based, and that all it does is bypass the need for pin or other entry method leaving you with just swipe to unlock. So method is - Wake, NFC read, swipe.

TBH, the last step seems to be wasted time, why swipe if you use NFC? it's not that easy to accidentally do a read.
I guess it's because that 'Trusted Devices' includes Bluetooth devices, which makes sense if you have that device around, then you would only have to do wake and swipe.
