Issues with NFC Ring Unlock app during calls
-
What if, just for the sake of trying everything, you deinstall both nfc ring unlock and nfc control app, hard reboot your phone, then reinstall?
-
Nothing. Still fails
-
Come on mate, work with me here - I can't mind read. What firmware are you running, do you have any lock screen widgets, do you have a lock screen at all?Is your phone locked to a carrier with carrier branded/modified firmware, do you have power saving options switched on, have you tried backing up your phone and upgrading/reflashing it's firmware?
-
Did you check your settings? go to "device security settings" -> "manage call behavior" and check you settings. I can't support more since I only have an Android tablet and no phone.
Note I've moved this into the apps section of the forum

Lol. Nexus 5 stock non rooted running latest firmware. No lock screen aside from NFC lock screen. Have already configured behavior in app settings to disable on call yet when call comes on NFC Ring unlock is still active.
-
Hmm, I had similar behaviour for calls in a previous build of the unlock app, that's why I asked for the version. When you select the call behaviour, then exit that sub menu is it still locked to that option when you go back in?

Call settings was fixed in latest beta, if you sign up for beta program you will get the fix. If you can let us know if it works then I can push to production sooner :)
-
Can you point me on the direction for beta?

Applied
-
Cool, let us know if it fixes the issue mate!
-
The reading is definitely improved in 1.5.8 don't know if it's just me. Go figure I get 0 calls to see if lock screen is still broken. I'll report back again soon.
-
It appears to work properly now. Thanks guys
-
Awesome, that's great to hear. Keep an eye out for any other bugs you might run across and let us know on the forums.
-
Spoke to soon. App still locks screen during incoming call even though it's set to not lock during incoming call
-
You haven't got the 'lock on answer' switched on have you?
-
Nope. Unlock when receiving call, never relock
