So I've had my ring for a few weeks now and it appears as though the main nfc chip has stopped working altogether. I've tested it on my Nexus 5 and on an HTC M7. Both phones can read the secondary black strip, but the primary one neither can detect.
Anyone else run into this? Can't use the ring for unlocking anything now. :(

Sadly due to the glue issue (mentioned in an update) this may happen to a limited amount of rings.
simply follow the returns procedure to get you replacement.

Same exact thing here (also on a M7). Headed over to the return page also.

Yeah, we think it affected about 1000 rings so probably ~400 or so rings went out with this fault. Pesky production perils!

My stealth bomber has just stopped reading on one side. Had it since Friday :(
I would send it back but as it's a stealth bomber, not sure I should or not... If I send it back, will I get a replacement and a voucher for a stealth bomber at a later date?

Good question @LJ-Goody, could we get clarification of that please @johnyma22 or @NFCringTom?

@LJ-Goody currently we have been replacing with a like-for-like but if we can't we contact you and say "which would you like to replace with".

We're not even selling Stealth bombers and it's likely the ring we make in the future wont be a stealth bomber or called a stealth bomber, we haven't made any announcement/decision on this yet though :)

Ok but what about the price difference?
Say it gets swapped for a black/transparent ring, I would have effectively paid more for a cheaper ring... I understand that the stealth bombers have been an issue though.
Reading the returns policy I noticed I could buy another ring for a "heavily discounted rate" what would that rate be?
                    Thanks, LJ

Thanks for the info, everyone. Looking up the returns info now. The second NFC tag has also stopped working. :(
