NFC ring & NFC Reader writer
-
Yeah, of course it works check the the FAQ for the exact standards http://store.nfcring.com/pages/faqs
-
@Zombiehug yes, definitely. My preferred method is via Arduino with a PN532 reader/writer unit. There is a large range of USB PC interfaces as well, just make sure that any you do get is for NFC at 13.560MHz!

Thanks a lot. I was thinking to easily program its on my facebook page and maybe mail or instagram, because actually i dont have anymore ideas XD
-
@Zombiehug you could also do this from a phone of a friend just ask them kindly

I have ordered the ACR122U NFC-reader a minute ago. It should arrive by the end of the week. Then I will share my experiences with this reader.
-
Ah cool, I've been wondering how one of those would go.
-
they're good readers but sadly there is no dirver that makes them run as win8 nfc reader...
-
This site says it should work ;)
-
Looks like they offer an SDK download for it as well, by request.
-
As well as a PDF regarding APIs which should be helpfull for develpoment ;)
-
-
I looked for the SDK but it costs about 150$ and it also dosn't support Windows 7 and 8 :(
-
you don't need the sdk, you only need the reader itself. all the other stuff can be downloaded (if you ask me kindly I'll send you the rest ;-)
the reader works under Win 7 / 8 but not as a Windows 8 proximity device (new introduced functionality in win8) -
If it works as an emulated COM-Port it would be perfect! For Windows 8 proximity devices I want to build an application later, since most of the people still use Windows 7 ;)
EDIT: It's detected as a smartcard reader, if anyone is interested in it...
